Bert Vaes possesses extensive experience in safety and supply chain management within the chemical industry. At DuPont, from 2012 to 2014, Bert served as Competency Leader for Distribution Safety EMEA, focusing on the development of management systems and training, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance. Additional roles included Supply Chain Planner for inbound Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs), Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor, and Process Control Specialist for solvent recovery. Currently, as Distribution Safety Leader EMEA and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor at The Chemours Company since 2015, Bert continues to drive safety initiatives across the region. Bert holds a Graduate degree in Industrial Chemical Process Techniques from SITO Mechelen.
