Machado is a global sports and technology executive who serves as CEO and President of DUPR and as founder of BLOOM Global Management, and who acts as Strategic Advisor to Catalyst Tools.
As leader of DUPR, Machado oversees the world’s most widely adopted pickleball rating system, connecting millions of players and thousands of clubs across more than 150 countries, and has led multiple capital raises from major investors including Major League Pickleball ownership groups, world-class athletes, and top venture funds.
BLOOM Global Management focuses on building and investing in high-growth companies across sports, technology, and media.
Machado has held roles across organizations such as Diadem Tennis, Major League Pickleball, Universal Tennis, ECN Staffing, Inc., and Tennis Innovators, and earned a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the Johan Cruyff Institute, bachelor’s degrees in Physical and Biological Anthropology and in Political Science and Government from Bloomsburg University, a finance degree from Missouri Valley College, and a Sport Industry Essentials Certificate from Columbia University.
