Mark E. Kaplan

Mark E. Kaplan CPA has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Mark E. started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1984 as a Senior Audit Manager. Later, they joined Weirton Steel Corporation (currently ArcelorMittal) in 1994 and served as President & CFO until 2004. In 2004, Kaplan became an Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at The WesMark Funds until 2010. Mark E. then joined Michael Baker Corporation as an Independent Director from 2007 to 2013. Kaplan's next significant role was at Duquesne Light Company, where they served as the Senior Vice President Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer from 2005. Mark E. later became the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2021 to June 2021.

Mark E. Kaplan CPA obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Mount Union, where they studied from 1980 to 1984.
