Patrick O'Connell

Patrick O'Connell has a strong background in operations, quality, and continuous improvement. Patrick has held various leadership roles throughout their career. At Dur-A-Flex, Inc., they served as the Director of Operations, Quality, and Continuous Improvement starting in 2019. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Global Quality and Continuous Improvement at Rollease Acmeda, where they led a dynamic transformation to improve systems and processes. Patrick also served as the Vice President of Operations and as a Project Manager at Rollease Acmeda. Before their time at Rollease Acmeda, they worked at AccuRounds as the Vice President of Operations and as the Vice President of Operations at Boston Centerless/AccuRounds. Patrick also held the role of Operations Manager at AccuRounds, implementing improvement projects. Earlier in their career, they were the General Manager at Precision Systems, where they successfully executed a cost reduction plan. Patrick also served as the Director of Manufacturing at APA Systems, leading a Lean Manufacturing transformation.

Patrick O'Connell's educational history includes several programs and certifications. In 1986 to 1989, they attended the Chartered Management Institute, where they studied Engineering/Industrial Management. In 2009, they enrolled in a Written Communications for Executives program at Boston University. The following year, in 2010, they undertook a Finance for non-Financial Managers course at the same university. In 2014 to 2015, Patrick attended the MIT Sloan School of Management's Executive Education Program in Management and Leadership. Patrick obtained additional certifications, including Lean Bronze Certified from ASQ - World Headquarters in October 2015 and an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan Executive Education in June 2015.
