Alexander Yakovlev has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alexander started their career at Gillette Group, LLC as a Key Accounts Manager from 2000 to 2005. Alexander then joined Procter & Gamble, where they served as a Customer Marketing Manager for Gillette in Moscow, Russia from 2005 to 2006. Alexander was later promoted to the position of Head of Electro/Mobile/DIY Trade Key Retail Chains, leading a team responsible for key accounts such as M. video and MediaMarkt. During their time at Procter & Gamble, they successfully integrated the Braun and Duracell business after the merger of the two companies.
In 2009, Yakovlev joined Rambler&Co as the Director of Sales and Business Development, overseeing internet media and services operations. Alexander then joined Microsoft in 2011 as the Country Sales Director for Microsoft Advertising in Russia, where they played a key role in driving the company's growth in the region. Alexander successfully doubled Microsoft's online advertising sales volume and established regional launch plans for new products and platforms.

Alexander Yakovlev earned their Master's degree in Computer Science from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) from 1989 to 1995.
