Jonathan Klein

Jonathan Klein is a seasoned professional in the field of materials development with extensive experience at The Duracell Company since June 2017, currently serving as Senior Manager and Senior Technical Leader. Klein leads a team focused on improving processes for proprietary cathode materials to enhance Duracell's Optimum products, with a strong emphasis on chemical process design and scale-up. Previous roles include Senior Engineer and Cell Design Engineer, where responsibilities included the scale-up of novel cathode materials and formulation development for various rechargeable battery products. Klein's early career included significant research and intern positions, including work at Mustain Laboratory for Electrocatalysis and Fuels, and Duracell, as well as a manufacturing engineering internship at Dymax Corporation. Klein holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, earned in 2017.
