Jon McAdam is currently serving as the Assistant Chief Constable at Durham Constabulary since 2024. Previously, Jon held significant roles within law enforcement, including Chief Superintendent and Detective Chief Superintendent at Lincolnshire Police and Detective Inspector at Cambridgeshire Constabulary. Jon also contributed to community sports as a rugby coach for Lincoln Rugby Football Club. Additionally, Jon currently chairs the Board of Trustees for The Robert Carre Trust and served as the Independent Safeguarding Chair for the Diocese of Peterborough from 2019 to 2024. Jon earned a Master's degree in Criminology from the University of Cambridge and a Foundation degree in Police Studies from the University of Portsmouth.
