Derrick Wheeler

Derrick Wheeler currently serves as the Engineering Manager for Data Products at Dutchie, where responsibilities include leading a team of 5–7 engineers and managing various aspects of customer-facing data products, including infrastructure and cost optimization in a multi-tenant cloud architecture. Prior to Dutchie, Derrick was the Engineering Manager for Growth & Data Platforms at Grubhub, focusing on data infrastructure critical to the business, and served as Engineering Lead at Knowledgent, where contributions included $16M in new revenue through data architecture and SaaS implementations. Additional experience includes consulting for Bleu Solutions LLC, founding the restaurant Vella, and holding positions at Deloitte, Accenture, and KPMG. Derrick holds an MBA in International Finance from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Lehigh University.
