Iain Searle

Iain Searle is a seasoned professional in fleet operations and maritime engineering, currently serving as Fleet Operations Manager at The Dutra Group since October 2022, and previously held the position of Port Engineer/Technical Superintendent at Dutra Group since December 2013. With a decade of experience at Holland America Line from December 2003 to November 2013 as Electrical Superintendent and Ship Manager, Iain has a strong background in evaluating ship performance, managing vessel projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Educational qualifications include a Higher National Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering from Plymouth College of Further Education and a City and Guilds certification in Advanced Marine Electrical Engineering from North Devon College.
