Jim Groves is a seasoned Power Electronics Engineer currently employed at D&V Electronics since February 2020. With extensive experience in the semiconductor and electronics industries, Jim previously held positions as Senior IC Design Engineer at Mezmeriz, IC Design Manager and Senior ASIC Architect at Kionix, Inc., and R&D Manager in the Sensors Group at Freescale Semiconductor. Earlier in their career, Jim served as an IC Design Manager at Kionix, Advisory Engineer at Celestica, and Advisory Engineer at IBM. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.
