Ignacio Losada

Ignacio Losada began their work experience in 2016 as a Graduate Intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Ignacio continued their internship at the same organization in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2020, they served as a Summer Intern at Berkeley Lab. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell Tech. Ignacio also had two stints at DV Trading LLC, where they worked as a Quantitative Trader Intern in 2022 and is currently employed as a Quantitative Researcher specializing in Power Markets since 2023.

Ignacio Losada completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad de Oviedo from 2012 to 2016. Ignacio then pursued their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Northern Arizona University from 2016 to 2018. Ignacio continued their education at Cornell University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2018 to 2022. In addition, they are currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, which is expected to be completed by 2023.
