Amy Johnson is the current COO at dv01. Amy previously worked at IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. from February 2014 to July 2017. During their time there, they held the position of ICE | Credit Execution, Global Head. In this role, they led a team of 13 people across New York, London, and Singapore that executed over $4.6 trillion in trading through risk reducing algorithms and screen execution. Amy was also responsible for managing the budget, P&L, forecasting, headcount, cost control, business planning, and recruiting. As a result of their efforts, the team achieved an average margin across three regions of 70%.

Johnson was also responsible for driving revenue growth at IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. Amy did this by spearheading the launch of two new products which addressed clients’ needs for capital reduction and efficiency (Supplemental Leverage Ratio Auctions and Margin Optimization). As a result of these new product launches, IntercontinentalExchange saw an increase in revenue of 25% each year.

In addition to their work on product development and growth strategy, Johnson also played a key role in mitigating risk at IntercontinentalExchange. Amy backloaded over $300B of risk for Margin Optimization, helping reduce systemic risk and saving dealers in initial margin in the Clearing House via a multi-lateral algorithmic solution with 14 counterparties participating. Amy also implemented a Direct to Clearing workflow for trades executed on Creditex Realtime which alleviated operational risk at Dealers and drove volume to ICE Clearing Houses in excess of $600B since 2015.

During their time at IntercontinentalExchange, Johnson also cultivated relationships with both new and existing clients. Amy developed and brought over 40 new relationships to the team, including risk managers and buy side while maintaining over 100 existing client relationships, including traders, business heads, COOs and business managers. Amy was also integrally involved with the launch of Eris Credit Index Futures, ICE’s SEF and the first All-to-All Single Name CDS CLOB. In these roles, they were responsible for onboarding and marketing to clients.

Johnson has a deep understanding of the financial industry and regulatory landscape. Amy has a working knowledge of regulatory topics like MIFID, Basel, Dodd-Frank and FRTB. Amy also served on ICE’s Executive Women’s Steering Committee. Her experience in both the public and private sector make their uniquely qualified to lead dv01 as they continue to grow and innovate in the financial technology space.

Amy Johnson has a MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
