Michelle H.

Michelle H. has work experience in various roles and companies. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Fullstack Engineer I at dv01. In this role, they implemented a Python API to develop an in-house messaging system and created a low latency microservice using Google Cloud Functions. Michelle also developed event-driven and reactive front-end solutions.

In 2020, Michelle joined Codesmith as an Instructor, where they provided technical mentorship, led lectures on JavaScript fundamentals, and supported students through online communication platforms.

In the same year, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Chronos. Here, they implemented React to modularize application components and render UI in an Electron desktop application. Michelle leveraged NodeJS and the NPM packaging ecosystem to create an Express middleware for microservice communications and database management.

Prior to this, Michelle worked as a Science Instructor at Saint Ignatius School from 2014 to 2019.

Michelle H. began their education in 2008 at the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Agriculture, General in 2010. Michelle continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BT) degree in Animal Sciences from 2010 to 2012.

In 2013, Michelle pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Biology Teacher Education at Queens College, a program that they completed in 2015.

After completing their master's degree, Michelle attended Codesmith in an undisclosed period to participate in a Software Engineering Residency program that concluded in 2019.

Michelle is currently enrolled at Western Governors University, where they are expected to complete their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2022 to 2024.
