Mel Guymon

Mel Guymon is a General Partner at DVC and has a diverse background in technology and leadership roles across several companies. They served as an Officer in the US Nuclear Navy from 1987 to 1995 and held various positions at major tech companies, including Vice President at Yahoo from 2013 to 2016 and Managing Director at Foothill Ventures since 2017. Guymon co-founded IMVU, Inc. and has also worked at Google, There.com, and several game development studios. They hold a BS/BA from Oregon State University, further complementing their extensive education in nuclear power through the US Navy's training programs.
