Giada Cantono has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Giada started their career as a Master Thesis Student at Queen's University Belfast, where they conducted experimental activities related to laser research. Giada then worked as a PHD Researcher at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives, where they designed and performed laser-plasma acceleration experiments.

After completing their PhD, Giada became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lund University, where they focused on laser-driven ion acceleration and improving lab efficiency through better documentation and communication.
