DVSA Communities is a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Illinois. It is driven by a clear mission: to provide culturally specific victim services to assist families in finding protection, living without fear, and addressing their needs to ensure their safety and well-being. The organization was founded by a survivor who, while working full-time as an advocate, recognized the lack of resources and access to healing and justice for Latina women in Dupage. DVSA Communities was established in 2019 to fill this critical gap. We offer advisor programs, self-help groups, and community navigator programs that are designed to help survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault receive the help and support that they need.
