Shayne Smith

Shayne Smith is an experienced transportation planner and event coordinator with a diverse background in project management, technical support, and research. Currently serving as an Associate Transportation Planner for the City of Santa Monica since January 2019, Shayne leads safety studies and community engagement initiatives. In addition, Shayne oversees replay operations as an Event Coordinator and serves as a Replay Technician with the Pac-12 Conference and DVSport, Inc., coordinating camera operations for various sports events. Shayne's education includes a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA with a focus on Transportation Planning and Policy, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from UCLA. Prior experiences include internships and assistant roles in transportation, research, and constituent services.
