Ali Simnad

Ali Simnad has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2002. Ali began their career at nVidia Corporation as a Senior Product Manager, where they were brought in to jump start the networking, security, and storage business. Ali then moved to Ubicom as a Senior Product Line Manager, where they initiated and successfully implemented an aggressive strategic product direction plan. In 2007, Ali joined PLX Technology (later acquired by Oxford Semiconductor) as Director of Product Management & Business Development, where they created and implemented a strategic product direction and go-to-market strategy. In 2010, they joined Dell EMC (formally VCE) as CTO Office, Product Management & Strategy, Cloud Products & Solutions, and led the strategy and market intelligence for VCE's next generation cloud application products and solutions. In 2017, Ali moved to Veritas Technologies LLC as a Senior Director of Product Management, where they developed the next generation "self-driving" data management applications. In 2018, they joined Pryon as VP Product Management, AI & ML, and in 2020 they began working at Micron Technology in product management, marketing, and sales enablement. Ali is also a board member of the USC Alumni Association Entrepreneurs Network and is currently the Chief Product Officer at DvSum.

Ali Simnad received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas - School of Engineering. Ali then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. After that, they earned a Master of Science in Management from the University of Southern California. In March 2019, they obtained an Amazon EC2 Fundamentals certification from LinkedIn.
