Philip Thorton

Philip Thornton is an experienced Agile Coach and Program Manager currently serving as the Practice Head for Agile Transformation and DVT Academy at DVT since January 2014. With a focus on supporting financial services providers, Philip specializes in agile process consulting, mentoring Scrum Masters and Product Owners, and enhancing DevOps practices. Previous roles include a managerial position at PwC, and consultancy positions at Switch Telecom, Converse Consulting, and The IQ Business Group, where Philip managed diverse projects related to change management and communications. Philip holds dual Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and Rotterdam School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from Rhodes University.
