Laura Kitto

Laura Kitto has a wealth of work experience in Human Resources. Laura began their career in 2003 as a Human Resources Coordinator at Laradon, where they became PHR certified and was responsible for Recruiting and Hiring, Developing Policies and Procedures, and Training and Development. Laura then moved up to Training Coordinator, where they were responsible for on-boarding, regular mandatory training and additional training provided to employees and contract workers. In 2014, they joined Distributor Wire & Cable as VP, Human Resources, where they managed all aspects of HR. In October of the same year, they began overseeing the operations department, working closely with the warehouse teams to ensure safe, accurate and efficient order fulfillment.

Laura Kitto obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Regis University between 1994 and 1998. Laura has also obtained a number of certifications, including a Customer Experience Certificate Program from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2022, a People Manager Qualification (PMQ) from SHRM in 2021, a Coaching and Developing Employees certification from LinkedIn in 2021, a Creating a Culture of Learning certification from LinkedIn in 2021, an Organizational Learning and Development certification from LinkedIn in 2021, a Measuring Business Performance certification from LinkedIn in 2020, a Creating a Business Plan certification from LinkedIn in 2020, an Understanding Business certification from LinkedIn in 2020, a Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations certification from LinkedIn in 2019, a Human Resources: Strategic Workforce Planning certification from LinkedIn in 2019, a Designing Growth Strategies certification from LinkedIn in 2018, a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in 2015, and a PHR Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Institute.
