SVP Design at Dwellwell Analytics, Inc.

Ted Booth has extensive work experience in the field of design and user experience. Ted is currently the SVP Design at Dwellwell Analytics, Inc., a position they started in 2021. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, Ted worked independently under the company name Projects & Collaborations, exploring new ventures and partnerships in design and user experience.

From 2018 to 2020, Ted served as the VP User Experience Design at Resideo, leading a global team responsible for smart home device design, mobile and web app UX/UI, and brand design. Before Resideo, they held senior positions at Honeywell, including Head of User Experience Design from 2018 to 2018 and Senior Director User Experience Design from 2014 to 2018. In these roles, they led UX design and research for Honeywell Connected Home, overseeing the design of various products and software tools.

Prior to their time at Honeywell, Ted was the Managing Director at Method from 2012 to 2014, where they managed the New York studio and implemented significant changes to the company. Before that, they worked at Smart Design from 2007 to 2012 as the Director of Interaction Design, where they established and grew a digital design practice within the firm.

Ted's career also includes positions at Motorola Solutions as a Senior Design Manager from 2005 to 2007, where they expanded design into software and firmware engineering, and as an Interaction Designer at various design consultancies, including Frog, Smart Design, and Astro Studios, from 2003 to 2005.

Early in their career, Ted helped establish and grow a digital design consultancy as the Interaction Design Director at Method from 1999 to 2003. Ted also worked as an Interaction Designer at MetaDesign from 1998 to 1999, where they were responsible for web design projects.

Throughout their career, Ted has demonstrated a passion for innovative design, user experience research, and leadership in the field.

Ted Booth has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Hispanic Studies from Lewis & Clark College. Ted also holds a Master of Design degree, specializing in Interaction Design and Design Research, from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
