Gemma Blackburn

Gemma Blackburn is an experienced Costs Lawyer currently working at DWF since February 2019, where responsibilities include drafting various legal documents, providing ad hoc advice, and negotiating settlements. Prior to DWF, Gemma worked at Stewarts from January 2016 to February 2019, servicing multiple departments and performing similar functions in cost management and litigation support. Earlier experience as a Legal Costs Draftsman at Lawlords Cost Consultants from September 2013 to January 2016 involved preparing Civil Bills of Costs and negotiating settlements. Gemma completed the ACL Training Cost Lawyer Qualification between 2015 and 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Kent, obtained in 2011.
