Ian Drew is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in claims management and litigation. Currently serving as the Claims Director for UK PI and Financial Lines at DWF since January 2020, Ian oversees a team responsible for a diverse array of professional indemnity claims across regulated and non-regulated sectors. Prior to DWF, Ian held the position of Senior Complex Claims Adjuster at QBE Europe, specializing in Financial and Specialty Market Claims from May 2016 to January 2020. Ian's legal career began at Ford and Warren, followed by roles at DAC Beachcroft LLP, and Walker Morris LLP, focusing on personal injury and insurance litigation, banking and finance disputes, and professional negligence cases, including high-profile matters in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Ian holds both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from Leeds University and a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Huddersfield, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law in York.
