Jonathan Branton

Jonathan Branton is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in EU and UK competition law, currently serving as Partner and Head of EU Competition and Public Sector at DWF since October 2012. In this role, Jonathan Branton advises on a comprehensive range of issues, including State aid, public procurement, and merger control, while also addressing Brexit-related matters. Prior to DWF, Jonathan Branton was a Partner at Cobbetts LLP, where leadership of the EU & Competition team involved extensive handling of EU and UK competition cases. Jonathan's earlier experience includes serving as a Partner at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey (UK) LLP, focusing on EU/Competition law in the Brussels office. Jonathan Branton earned a Law degree from the University of Leicester and completed the Law Society Finals at Chester College of Law.
