Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson is a Director at DWF since January 2017, specializing in Criminal Defence and Regulatory matters. Leading a Tier 1 Regulatory, Compliance and Investigations team in Leeds, Mark provides advice and representation to businesses and individuals during investigations and prosecutions by various regulatory bodies, including the Police and Health & Safety Executive. Prior to DWF, Mark served as a Partner at M&A Solicitors from January 2003 to January 2017, where a broad range of Criminal Defence work was undertaken. Mark began a legal career at Harrowell Shaftoe, where training was completed under experienced solicitors, eventually qualifying as an Assistant Solicitor in the Criminal Department.
