Neil Hanson

Neil Hanson has extensive experience in fraud investigation, particularly focusing on complex loss and major loss cases. Currently serving as a Specialist Lead - Fraud at DWF since September 2023, Neil previously worked at QuestGates Ltd as a Major & Complex Loss Investigator from July 2021 to September 2023, where responsibilities included managing investigations over £100k and enhancing background screenings for Major Loss Adjusters. Prior to that, Neil held the position of Complex Loss Investigator at Sedgwick from October 2010 to July 2021, specializing in liability fraud cases, many of which received media coverage and prompted police involvement. Neil's earlier roles include Complex Loss Investigator at Cunningham Lindsey, where similar high-value investigations were conducted, and Legal Assistant at Plexus Law. Neil began a career in fraud detection and investigation with RSA in the household fraud team from March 1999 to July 2006. Neil is currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in History & Politics at the University of Leeds.
