Simon MacFarlane

Simon Macfarlane is a Senior Associate at DWF, specializing in Criminal Motor Defence and Regulatory Law, with a strong track record of representing clients in both Magistrates' and Crown Courts on various road traffic and health and safety offences since July 2021. Concurrently, Simon serves as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West of England, teaching criminal advocacy in the Bar Training Course. Prior experience includes work as a Solicitor Advocate at Reeds Solicitors, providing daily advice and representation in the Magistrates’ Court and focusing on young people and vulnerable adults, as well as conducting advocacy as an Assistant Solicitor at Bobbetts Mackan Solicitors. Simon holds a Legal Practice Course (LPC) from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Nottingham Trent University, among other qualifications.
