Ben Jackson

Ben Jackson is a software engineer who currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Dwolla. Ben has over 15 years of experience in the field, having worked as a software engineer intern at both Digi International and Rockwell Collins before beginning their career at TaxAct in 2003. At TaxAct, Jackson served as a senior software architect, working on design solutions that aligned with organizational initiatives while also establishing technology direction and governance across engineering teams. In 2019, they made the switch to Dwolla, where they now lead a team of engineers in building out the company's payment platform.

Ben Jackson has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. Ben is certified by the Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified ScrumMaster.

Their manager is Skyler Nesheim, VP, Engineering. They are on a team with Eugen Burianov - Software Engineer, Nick Leeper - Director, Engineering.
