Brian Holt

Brian Holt has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Brian started their career at John Deere as an IT Analyst and Data Analyst, where they developed quality metrics for data warehouses and implemented process improvements in transactional systems. Brian then worked at John Deere India Ltd as an IT Analyst, contributing to a sales application and training teams on JavaScript and jQuery. Brian returned to John Deere and served as a Senior Software Developer, focusing on delivering customer-facing experiences and utilizing a mobile-first approach. Brian later became a Technology Solutions Architect, overseeing API Enablement and design. In 2015, Brian joined Dwolla as a Builder/Developer, where they enhanced internal libraries, automated deployments using Docker and ECS, and worked on developer tooling and DevOps. Currently, they serve as a Principal Software Engineer at Dwolla.

Brian Holt completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2005. In 2002-2003, they also attended University College Cork, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study during that time.
