Alex Barnes has a solid background in law and government relations, having served as a Global Government Relations Summer Intern and subsequently as a Global Government Relations Analyst at Kinross Gold Corporation from May 2019 to August 2019. Following this, Alex pursued legal education at Queen's Law, culminating in a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in 2023. Prior to graduation, Alex gained valuable experience as a Summer Law Student and Articling Student at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP from October 2024 to June 2024. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Toronto, obtained in 2020.
