Charles Tingley is a partner in the Competition & Foreign Investment Review practice at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where they advise clients on matters related to merger control, cartels, and compliance. They have acted in significant litigation before the Competition Tribunal and courts. Prior to rejoining Davies in 2012, Charles served as Deputy General Counsel at the New Zealand Commerce Commission, gaining extensive experience in competition law enforcement. Charles is admitted to practice in both Ontario and New Zealand and holds degrees in History, Politics, and Law from McGill University, as well as a degree in EU Competition & Trade Law from The University of Edinburgh.
