Emily Thom is a dedicated law student at McGill University, pursuing a B.C.L/J.D. degree from 2021 to 2025. Current roles include Student Ambassador at McGill University’s Faculty of Law and Legal Clinic Caseworker at the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations. Previous experience includes positions as a Policy Intern at the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, where responsibilities involved drafting policy notes and coordinating stakeholder meetings, as well as a role supporting operations at the Department of Justice Canada. Emily also participated as an Oralist in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and served as a Junior Advocate with the Wallenberg Advocacy Group, where research and drafting were key tasks. Before pursuing law, Emily earned a degree in Liberal Arts from CEGEP - John Abbott College and a high school diploma from Villa Maria High School.
