Brian Maute

Brian Maute has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Head of US Wholesale Client Coverage and CEO of DWS Distributors at DWS Group since May 2011. In this role, Brian oversees broker-dealer operations, including revenue management and regulatory compliance, while executing strategic business initiatives across multiple product lines. Previous positions include Head of Alternatives Distribution, leading a dedicated product and relationship management team, and Divisional Director for the West Region, where Brian managed intermediary client coverage. Prior to DWS Group, Brian held various roles at Invesco Ltd and Morgan Stanley Investment Management, focusing on business development and regional sales management. Brian possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA from DePaul University.
