Lukas Ahnert

Lukas Ahnert, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with significant experience in passive investing and index strategy. Currently serving as a Senior Passive Product Specialist at DWS Group since July 2018, Ahnert focuses on ETF manufacturing, smart beta research, and index customization for institutional mandates. Previous roles include a progression from Analyst to Passive Product Specialist at DWS Group, as well as experience in portfolio management as an intern at BlackRock and in the CIO office at Deutsche Asset Management. Ahnert holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of St.Gallen and has completed an exchange semester at Università Bocconi, in addition to a Bachelor's degree from the University of St Andrews. Early career internships at Commerzbank AG and United Signals GmbH laid a strong foundation in credit research and product development.
