Stephen Batten

Stephen Batten is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in financial services and operations management. Currently serving as the Country Head and Board Member for DWS India since March 2020, Batten previously held significant positions such as Head of India Technology & Operations at DWS and Global Product Manager - Middle Office at BNP Paribas Securities Services. With a solid background at Deutsche Asset Management and Santander Asset Management, Batten has played a key role in change management initiatives, notably with Aladdin and Bloomberg AIM. An early career at BlackRock established Batten as a Director with a focus on operational effectiveness across various teams. Batten’s career commenced in corporate treasury operations with QBE Insurance after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Westminster.
