Haibo Yang

Haibo Yang, Ph.D., is an accomplished Principal Architect and Microsoft Data & AI Lead at DXC Technology, focusing on large-scale Data, AI, MLOps, and IoT solutions for Australian and New Zealand governments since June 2022. Previously, Yang served as the Data and Insights Lead Consultant at Theta (NZ), overseeing the architecture and delivery of data technology solutions. During a nine-year tenure at IMPAC, Yang held multiple roles, including Head of Data and Infrastructure and Head of Business Intelligence, where responsibilities included enhancing data solutions and driving safety and risk analytics transformations. Yang's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Victoria University of Wellington, coupled with extensive teaching experience as a lecturer in Information Systems and Computer Science.
