Valentin Sohler has a diverse range of work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at DXOMARK. Prior to that, in 2019, they were an R&D Engineering Intern at CHU de Québec-Université Laval, where they worked on image registration and the development of a GUI for microscopy image manipulation. In 2018, Valentin served as a Laboratory Engineering Intern at Tide Microfluidics, working on the design of experimental protocols and the evaluation of lipids solutions. Before that, in 2017, they had two roles: an Engineering Project at CashDev, where they designed an electronic board and sensor for cash recognition, and an R&D Engineering Internship at ICube Laboratory, where they characterized an ion-sensitive field-effect transistor. Valentin also had short internships at Ampelys in 2013 and Merck Millipore in 2012.

Valentin SOHLER completed their Bachelor's degree in Scientific with courses in biology at Lycée Schuré from 2011 to 2014. Valentin then attended Lycée Kléber from 2014 to 2016, where they pursued Preparatory classes for engineering schools with a focus on mathematics and physics. Following this, from 2016 to 2019, Valentin studied at Télécom Physique Strasbourg. During this time, they obtained an Engineering diploma in Engineering and Physics Science for Healthcare, with a concentration in computer sciences, biomechanics, and electronics for healthcare. Additionally, they earned a Master's degree in Imaging, Robotics, and Engineering for healthcare at the same institution, specializing in computer vision, optimization, and robotics for healthcare.
