Weiqi Sun

Weiqi Sun is currently serving as the VP of AI Research at Dyania Health since January 2023. Prior to this role, Weiqi held positions as a Senior NLP Applied Scientist and Applied Scientist at Amazon from September 2020 to January 2023. Before Amazon, Weiqi was an AI Researcher at Bloomberg LP for three years, having started the career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Princeton University. Weiqi's research at Princeton involved the development of advanced algorithms for combustion modeling, including the in-progress Smart-CSP method. In 2016, Weiqi co-founded Robolution, where as CTO, technical developments for an automated cooking system were led. Weiqi's early experience includes a software engineering internship at CD-adapco and research at Peking University, culminating in a Ph.D. in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University. Weiqi also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Peking University.
