Tyrone Farmer is a seasoned safety and environmental health professional with extensive experience in corporate safety leadership. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Safety at Dycom Industries, Inc. since May 2022, Tyrone is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive safety program that integrates safety into all organizational operations. Previously, Tyrone held positions as Senior Director of Corporate Safety at Qualus Power Services, where safety culture transformation led to a significant reduction in injury rates, and as Safety and Human Performance Business Partner at Power Grid Engineering, where strategic initiatives enhanced organizational safety standards. Tyrone's earlier career includes impactful roles at GE Power & Water and GE Oil & Gas, focusing on EHS management, process improvement, and talent development. Tyrone holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
