Jack Amis has been in the engineering industry since 1980, when they began their career as a Design Engineer at General Electric. In 1985, they moved to Reliance Motion Control, where they worked as a Motion Control Engineering Manager and Senior Design Engineer. In 1997, they joined Exlar Corporation as a Contract Engineer. Finally, in 2006, they became a Principal Engineer at Dynamic Animation Systems.
Jack Amis attended Wheaton College from 1975 to 1976 and then Virginia Tech from 1976 to 1983, where they earned a BSEE and MSEE in Electrical Engineering.
