She has held HR leadership positions across various industries, including a Fortune 500 company and international business. She has worked in industries such as legal, financial services, government contracting, manufacturing, and local government.

Ms. Baker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Howard University, Washington, D.C.

She is a member of the National Society for Human Resource Management, Human Resources Association of the National Capital Area.
