What makes therapy with us different than all of the other therapies you've tried? We practice a unique blend of modalities known as Experiential Dynamic Therapy (EDT). We do talk about your thoughts and worries, but we also practice somatic therapy, which means that you will be encouraged to experience your emotions instead of just think about them. At the same time, we incorporate mindfulness techniques to regulate your anxiety, and we pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship, meaning we take a relational therapy approach to our work. Ultimately, we help you to make sense of your feelings, anxiety, and thoughts so that you can navigate your life with greater confidence and ease, which for our clients typically means healthy romantic partnerships, positive relationships to work and creativity, and fulfilling friendships and family relations.

Our therapists are trained in a variety of empirically supported and effective therapeutic approaches, including Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (EDT), psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based, relational, somatic, feminist, and mindfulness-based therapy.
