Chris Durrant

Product Director at Dynamon

Chris Durrant has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 as a Customer Advisor at Waterstones. In 2009, they worked as a Software Developer at Xyratex, where they created a copy of a software build server and focused on creating documentation. Chris then joined Abercrombie & Fitch in 2010 as a Greeter. In 2011, they worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Exeter for a brief period. From 2012 to 2016, Chris pursued a Ph.D. at the University of Exeter/Brown University, specializing in magnetization dynamics of nanostructured spintronic devices. During this time, they also worked as a Research Scientist and collaborated with experimental physicists. In 2017, Chris became the Head of Analytics at Dynamon, leading the development of their flagship SaaS products. Chris played a crucial role in transitioning Dynamon from a startup to a viable growth-stage company. Currently, they serve as the Head of Product at Dynamon, overseeing the development of their electric vehicle procurement and management product.

Chris Durrant completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics at the University of Exeter from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Physics from the same university, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. Their high school education was completed at Peter Symonds College from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Biology, Philosophy, and General Studies.
