Richard Farren has a strong background in software development and data management. Richard is currently the Head of Software at Dynamon, where they design and maintains the software stack for their analytics suite. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Information Systems Developer at OceanWise Ltd, where they developed environmental data management systems. Richard also served as a Production & Support Manager at HR Wallingford and a GIS Analyst at SeaZone Solutions Ltd. Before entering the tech industry, Richard worked as a Senior Sailing/Powerboat Instructor at Cobnor Activities Centre.
Richard Farren attended the University of Exeter from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a BSc in Geography with IT. Prior to that, they studied A-Level Geography, Physics, Business Studies, and AS-Level Maths at Chichester High Schools Sixth Form from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained certifications such as RYA Senior Instructor and RYA Powerboat Instructor from the Royal Yachting Association in 2007 and 2006 respectively. Richard also holds a Private Pilots Licence (NPPL) from the Civil Aviation Authority, obtained in 2004.
