Jan Korenek

Jan Korenek is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at DYNANIC, where they develop FPGA-based SmartNIC solutions for high-speed network acceleration since 2021. As a researcher at CESNET, they focus on hardware acceleration using FPGA technology while guiding and mentoring their research team. Jan has also held various leadership roles at CESNET, notably as the Leader of the Department for Tools for Network Monitoring and Configuration, where they expanded the research team significantly and secured funding for numerous projects. Jan served as an assistant and associate professor at Brno University of Technology, specializing in FPGA technology for network security, and has co-founded RehiveTech and Netcope Technologies, contributing to innovative IoT and network solutions. They hold a PhD in Network Security, FPGA Technology, and Digital Design from Vysoké učení technické v Brně.
