Dynasty Power Inc. was established in 2011 with a core group of experts in the energy trading industry, many of whom continue to be active leaders in the firm. The company was funded by the founders and to date no external funding has been solicited.  The company has been growing exponentially and in addition to the original East Power Desk we now have a West Desk, ERCOT Desk, Physical Bilateral Desk and a Natural Gas Desk, as well as Virtual and UPTO traders and Transmission Rights traders.

To contribute to Dynasty Power’s continued growth and success, over the years the company has developed many proprietary market monitoring and simulation models. Since there is an abundance of data that affects the firm’s trading strategies including price, weather, transmission lines, generating unit availability, pipelines, storage, political events, and regulatory requirements, these models help streamline the decision making and trading process.

Dynasty Power developed internal proprietary credit monitoring and risk management software that is shared by all front and back-office personnel.
