Jim Martin has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Jim worked as a Fixed Operations Performance Coach at Dynatron Software, Inc. from June 2023 to present. Before that, they were the owner of Fixed Operations Development Group LLC from November 2022 to June 2023.

From April 2015 to June 2022, Jim served as the Fixed Operations Director at Eagle Buick GMC. During their tenure, they received the National GM Journeys Award twice for outstanding performance and achieved GM Mark of Excellence Attainment from 2016 to 2021.

Prior to that, Jim held the position of President at Tampa Bay Area GM Service and Parts Council from February 2011 to June 2022. Jim organized and facilitated meetings with GM Fixed Operations Management and implemented various strategies and programs.

Jim's earlier roles include Service Manager at Jim Browne Pasco Chevrolet Buick GMC from January 2002 to April 2015. Jim successfully managed the service department and expanded the client base through events and seminars. Before that, they worked as an Office Manager, Parts Consultant, Service Writer, and Dispatcher at CarTrek Automotive Repair from January 1997 to January 2002.

Jim Martin has a comprehensive education and certification background in the automotive industry. In 2002, they began their education journey at the GM Training and GM Fixed Operations Academy, where they pursued a certification in Automotive Fixed Operations. Jim dedicated 20 years to this program, completing it in 2022.

In 2016, Jim attended the National Automotive Dealership Association (Dealer Candidate School) for one year, focusing on Automotive Dealer Operations and Management. Here, they obtained a degree in Automotive Dealer Operations Management.

Additionally, Jim secured several additional certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. In November 2017, they became a Certified Dealer Operator Candidate through the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA). Furthermore, in January 2013, they earned multiple certifications from General Motors, including Certified GM Body Shop Manager, Parts Manager, Service Manager, Service Consultant, Parts Consultant, Technology Expert, Business Development Center Manager, Electric Vehicle Sales Expert, Electric Vehicle Service Expert, and Internet Manager.
