Robert Janssen

Robert Janssen has extensive experience in medical affairs and clinical development, currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Development, Regulatory and Medical Affairs at Dynavax Technologies since March 2010. Prior roles include Vice President of Medical Affairs at Gilead Sciences and Director of the Division(s) of HIV/AIDS Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from June 1985 to May 2008. Janssen also held positions as a Post Doctoral Fellow in Neurovirology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and as a Neurology Resident at Penn Medicine. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Stanford University and the University of Southern California.
