Tom Cadden

Tom Cadden is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Executive Director of FP&A at Dynavax Technologies since December 2017, Tom leads the FP&A team in managing budgeting, forecasting, and corporate valuation for a global vaccine company. Previous roles include Senior Director and Director at Medivation, where Tom developed financial demand models and collaborated on market planning. As the Founding Principal of Cadden Consulting, Tom delivered metrics identification and forecasting system implementations for pre-IPO companies. Early career experiences include managerial positions at Shutterfly, GAP Inc., Mervyns, and financial analysis roles at Opt4, Shoreline Pacific, and LECG. Tom holds an MBA in Finance from USC Marshall School of Business and a BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
