Kaede Ito's work experience includes:

- Software Developer at DYNE since January 2021. Developed a web dashboard using React and Next.js, built and maintained the backend RESTful API, implemented automated unit testing and linting, deployed a Dockerized backend to Google Kubernetes Engine, implemented OAuth2.0, and integrated Stripe's suite of products for purchases and sales. Deployed the project to Azure using CI/CD pipelines.

- Back End Developer at UBC Department of Psychology from May 2021 to August 2021. Worked on the Polaris project to create a graph-based REST API for the Polaris mobile app, designed for people with Bipolar Disorder to enhance their quality of life.

Kaede Ito completed their secondary education at Donald A. Wilson Secondary School from 2015 to 2019. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Genetics at The University of British Columbia from 2019 to 2024.
